First Post!

Hello, and welcome to the Crooner's Cafe! I am a Sophomore in high school and a huge jazz enthusiast. I am especially fond of crooners such as Frank Sinatra (thus the name). That's probably not the only thing I'll be blogging about, though.
Those who watch the Big Bang Theory will probably like this blog. If you missed the season finale, I feel sorry for you. If you don't already watch the series... you need to be. If you haven't already seen the season finale, skip to the next paragraph; this is your SPOILER ALERT. I was really very pleased that the producers were accurate with how the astronauts were launched, as the Russian Soyuz capsule is now the only way for American astronauts to get to the International Space Station. Probably one of the funniest things about the episode was that Amy was so obsessed with her maid of honor dress. It was also pretty funny when Howard tried to get ahead in the line to get married by telling the woman at city hall that he was an astronaut going to the ISS and she thought he was kidding.
Okay, those who skipped, you can start reading again. Over next to this post is a poll of who your favorite crooner is, and I'd really appreciate your feedback. My family and I came up with quite a list, so hopefully your favorite crooner is on it, but if they're not, just click other.
On to a little history. Everyone knows the name Osama bin Ladin, the dead terrorist leader. One thing I found out about recently is that our country once supported him. We gave him weapons and supplies. But something we did (I can't remember what) made him hate us and he said our country and all who live in it should be destroyed. Just an interesting factoid.
Well, I suppose that's it for this post. Please feel free to comment.
